Hello, I'm Rain!

I’m a pink-loving fine artist who specializes in painting stylized, dream-like landscapes. I express my vision through both traditional and digital mediums, primarily acrylic on wood panel. Beyond this, my artistic exploration also extends into the realms of illustration and animation. My creative journey is a lifelong pursuit of authentic expression and bringing my ideal world to life.

My Vision: A Sanctuary of Tranquility and Wonder

I think of each piece as a glimpse into a different part of a vast, unfolding universe. The scenes aren’t necessarily designed to represent a specific earthly place, but to instead embody a feeling. My favorite environments to paint are atmospheric, picturesque, and often beautifully isolated. I find peace within solitude, so I aim to create worlds I can get lost in—ones where I can immerse myself when I need an escape from the mundanity and stressors of life. I hope my paintings can offer a similar refuge for others.
My wish is for my artwork to not only bring beauty into the home, but to serve as a bridge to serenity. It’s an invitation for others to create their own sanctuary within their space for I believe that everyone has a right to peace and happiness. I want my work and artistic journey to inspire others to freely walk their own path to joy, to be comfortable with their authentic selves, and pursue their dreams.
Ultimately, I want the world that I paint to be the world in reality.

My Inspirations

My vision and creativity draw from a variety of sources, but none is clearer than the boundless beauty of nature. From the crashing waterfall into a sparkling lake to the serene expanse of a barren desert all the way to the snowy peak of a mountain. Even the sound of gentle rainfall. My favorite landscapes to paint feature bodies of water; The way it reflects the environment makes my heart dance.
Beyond that, Video games deeply ignite my creativity. Listening to their evocative soundtracks is often when my imagination takes flight. I’m drawn to titles like Metroid Prime, Okami, and The Legend of Zelda series, where immersive worlds and engaging stories invite exploration.
My fascination with visual storytelling extends to characters, character design, and animation. My love for illustration and anime inspire me to merge these elements with my traditional painting. These passions also led to the creation of my vtuber character: Rain, the Pink Paintress. She is in some aspects her own character, but she is an extension of myself and another way to express my creativity.
